Collection 1.5. Abstract

Inspiration

If you have the great pleasure of traveling to New York and visiting its museums, you will see Abstract Expressionism everywhere. Many of these works were the ones that inspired our creative director after a trip to New York.

The Abstract Expressionism was a pictorial movement emerged in the 40s after the Second World War.

In their looms, primary colors such as magenta, yellow, cyan, black and white stand out.

With this collection we want to highlight women painters and fighters, because in most cases, they appeared behind their husbands, who were famous, as in the case of Lee Krasner, Pollock’s wife. But here we want to leave some names of these abstract expressionist painters:

ELAINE DE KOONING • PERLE FINE • MICHAEL WEST • JOAN MITCHELL • MARY ABBOTT • JAY DE FEO • NANCY HILLIS • HELEN FRANKENTHALER

In our search to be sustainable, in this collection we have used fabrics from companies in liquidation and buttons recycled from other shirts. With this we want to give a new life to those fabrics and buttons. In addition to being a limited edition of garments.

Japanese style patterns and sleeves with a lot of style. For a woman who wants to be different.

Each blouse is called as a woman painter of the movement of Abstract Expressionism.
